Ride A Pet Hatch Luck Explained: Costs and Multipliers

Checked in-game 4 Oct 2026 Updated 4 Oct 2026

Hatch Luck is one of the best things to spend cash on in Ride A Pet. It raises your luck, so the eggs you get are better. The catch is that every level costs more than the one before, and your cash can run out quickly. This guide covers where the clover board is, how the prices go up, how high the multiplier goes, and when to upgrade.

Where to find the Hatch Luck board

The Hatch Luck board is a green board with a clover on it. You'll find it next to your ranch, or inside your pen.

Your current luck is shown at the top of the screen, so you can check your multiplier at any time. Your cash is the green counter at the bottom left. Look at both before you buy.

Only use the board on your own ranch. The ranches next to yours belong to other players.

How to buy a Hatch Luck level

  1. Walk to the green clover board next to your ranch.
  2. Look at the green price button. Then check your cash at the bottom left.
  3. Click the green price button to buy one level. Your multiplier goes up.
  4. Keep clicking while you can afford the next level.
  5. Stop when the button goes dark or 'Not Enough Cash' appears at the top of the screen.

The first levels are very cheap

Your first two levels cost almost nothing:

  • $5 takes you from 1.0x to 2.0x.
  • $15 takes you from 2.0x to 3.0x.

That's double your luck for just $5. Buy these as soon as you have the cash. You start with $50, and the tutorial has you spend it on the Advanced Radar. So place a pet first to start earning, then come back for these cheap levels.

How the price rises with each level

The price goes up with every level. Here are some prices players see:

  • Mid levels cost from $345 up to $895. In this range, each level costs about $110 more than the last.
  • Later levels cost from $1,950 up to $3,165.

The price keeps going up, but the multiplier keeps climbing too. That's why it pays to buy the early levels while they're cheap.

How far the multiplier goes

The multiplier climbs a long way. Players have seen it go from 14.0x all the way up to 23.0x and then 28.0x.

Your current value is always shown at the top of the screen. Each level you buy pushes it higher.

The purple x100 gem button

The board also has a purple x100 button. It costs gems, not cash, at about 5 gems.

This guide only covers the cash upgrades. Keep in mind the purple button uses a different currency from the green buttons.

The x/5 tier bar

The board also has a progress bar that reads x/5, with a clover x5 icon next to it.

Nobody has confirmed what filling the bar to 5/5 unlocks yet. Don't spend all your cash just to fill it until we know what it gives.

Watch your cash

Hatch Luck upgrades use up cash fast. One player's cash dropped from 1054 to 206 buying Hatch Luck and Bones. Clicking the button over and over is easy, so check your balance first.

When you can't afford a level, the button goes grey and 'Not Enough Cash' appears at the top of the screen. That just means you need to wait and earn more.

When to upgrade

Here's a simple plan:

  1. Buy the early levels right away. $5 and $15 are tiny prices for a big boost.
  2. Keep your ranch full. Up to 5 pets on your ranch earn cash every second, and they keep earning while you're offline. Click Place Best so your best earners stay out.
  3. Come back once your cash is well above the next price. Then buy a few levels at once.
  4. Don't spend everything. You may want cash for other things, like Bone ($1,500) to level up your pets.
