Huss Valley is a chase game. Runners try to get away and chasers (also called catchers) try to catch them. The shop sells two kinds of extras to help you. Items come in 3-charge packs and get used up. Abilities are permanent unlocks for runners. This guide lists every item and ability, what each one does, what it costs and which ones to buy first.
How items and abilities work
Items are consumables. You buy them in packs, and each pack adds 3 charges. You start with 0 charges of each item. You can only equip one item at a time.
Abilities are permanent unlocks, so they have no charges. You must unlock an ability before you can equip it. All the abilities in the shop are in the Runner category. You can buy them with Gems or Robux.
Your loadout holds one runner ability, one chaser ability and one item.
Your Coins and Gems are shown on the counters in the bottom-left of the screen.

How to open the shop
- Click MENU on the left side of the screen. On PC, press ALT first if you need your cursor.
- Choose SHOP.
- Pick the ITEMS tab for 3-charge packs, or the ABILITIES tab for permanent unlocks.
- Buy what you want, then equip it.

Full item list (3-charge packs)
These are the items that have a price shown:
- Adrenaline – 135 Coins or 57 Gems. Runner / Catcher item. You accelerate 60% faster and keep more speed through turns for 5 seconds.
- Banana Peel – 135 Coins or 27 Gems. Runner / Catcher item. You throw a peel that lasts 15 seconds. The first opponent slips, falls, then quickly gets back up.
- Rescue Kit – 203 Coins or 117 Gems. Runner item. Revive yourself when you are downed during a crossing. You can only use it while rescue is available.

These items also appear in the game, but their prices aren't listed here:
- Bowling Ball – roll a ball that trips runners.
- Rocket Shoes – dash the way you are moving, or toward where your camera faces if you are standing still.
- Rufus's Leash – pull a runner toward you.
- Pocket Door – place a temporary door in front of you.
- Self Rescue Kit – revive yourself when caught.

Which items are for runners and which for catchers
Both roles: Adrenaline and Banana Peel work for runners and catchers alike. That makes them good choices whichever role you get.
Runners: Rescue Kit is a runner item. Self Rescue Kit also helps you escape once you are caught, so it suits runners too.
Catchers: Bowling Ball trips runners and Rufus's Leash pulls a runner toward you. Both are made for chasing.
Not clear: Rocket Shoes and Pocket Door could help either side. The game doesn't say which role they belong to.
Full ability list (permanent unlocks)
All three abilities are runner abilities. Once you unlock one, you keep it for good.
- Cloak – 1000 Gems or 999 Robux. You disappear for 3 seconds. You can still be hit, and using an item ends the cloak early.
- Emergency Airhorn – 1000 Gems or 1149 Robux. Aim a short-range blast that knocks a nearby chaser backward.
- Inflatable Decoy – 750 Gems or 949 Robux. Send an inflatable copy of yourself running straight ahead for 7 seconds. It pops when caught.

Which to buy first
Start with Adrenaline. It costs 135 Coins, and it helps whether you are running or chasing. A burst of speed with better turning is useful in almost any chase.
Banana Peel is the cheapest in Gems at 27 Gems. It's also good for both roles. Drop it behind you as a runner, or in a runner's path as a catcher.
Save Rescue Kit for later. At 203 Coins or 117 Gems it costs the most, and it only helps runners.
For abilities, Inflatable Decoy is the cheapest at 750 Gems. It's a solid first unlock for confusing chasers. Cloak and Emergency Airhorn both cost 1000 Gems. Choose Airhorn if you want to push chasers away. Choose Cloak if you'd like to vanish, but remember you can still be hit and using an item breaks it.
All abilities can be unlocked with Gems, so you don't need Robux to get them. For game passes and knives, see Huss Valley Game Passes: Prices and Are They Worth It? and Huss Valley Knives: Every Dagger and How to Get It.
