Huss Valley is a Roblox chase game. The game's whole description is just "RUN!!", and the loading screen asks "Ready for the chase?" That tells you most of what you need to know. This guide covers how a match works, what to do when you first join, the controls, what to spend your Coins and Gems on, and the mistakes new players often make.

What is Huss Valley?
Huss Valley is a chase game made by Huss Valley Official. Up to 30 players can be in one server. Private servers are not allowed, so you always play in public servers.
Each match has two roles:
- Runners try to get away.
- Chasers (also called catchers) try to catch the runners.
You carry a knife. Everyone starts with the Valley Original, the standard starter knife. Your level and your number of wins show above your head, so other players can see how experienced you are.
How the core loop works
A round of Huss Valley follows a simple pattern:
- Wait in the lobby. The lobby is where everyone waits for a match. You may see the status "Waiting for players".
- Play the match. You are a runner or a chaser. Runners escape and chasers catch.
- Vote for the next map. A map vote with an 8-second timer lets you pick the next map. Two maps have shown up: The Valley and The Dunes. If nobody votes, the current map stays.
- Spend and set up. Open the shop, buy items or abilities, and change your loadout.

Then it starts again. The lobby also has leaderboards, including Most Wins. There is also a Catches leaderboard.
Your first session, step by step
- Join a server and wait. If a match is already running, you'll see "Match in progress — you'll join the next one." This is normal. Just wait in the lobby.
- Check your HUD. Your COINS and GEMS counters are in the bottom-left. On the side you'll find MENU, EMOTE, AFK OFF and SPECTATE. At the top-right are SERVERS and UPDATE LOG.
- Practise the dash. Press Space to dash. Get moving first, then turn and dash.
- Spectate while you wait. Use SPECTATE to watch the current match and see how runners and chasers move.
- Open the menu. Press MENU to find SHOP, KNIVES, JOURNEY, SETTINGS and the music toggle.
- Look at the shop tabs. The shop has SHOP, ABILITIES, ITEMS and MY KNIVES. Have a look so you know what's there.
- Play your first match. Focus on staying alive as a runner and keeping up with runners as a chaser.
- Vote on the map. When the vote appears, tap the map you want. You can also close it to explore and reopen it from the top of the screen.

Coins and Gems
Huss Valley has two main currencies, and both show in the bottom-left of your screen:
- Coins buy item packs.
- Gems buy item packs too, plus permanent abilities.
A few ways to make your currency last longer:
- Spend Coins on items when you can. Items cost Coins or Gems. Use Coins for items and save your Gems for abilities, because abilities can only be bought with Gems or Robux.
- Get the free knife. The Balloon Dagger is free if you invite a friend and they join through your invite. Use the "A Little Party Favour" popup, then press CHECK CLAIM.

The X2 EXP pass (199 Robux) doubles your EXP and VIP (799 Robux) gives 25% more XP. Their descriptions talk about XP, not Coins or Gems, and you don't need either one to enjoy the game.
What to buy first
Your loadout holds one runner ability, one chaser ability and one item.
Items come in packs of 3 charges. Each pack you buy adds 3 more. Good first picks:
- Banana Peel – 135 Coins or 27 Gems. Throw a peel that lasts 15 seconds. The first opponent to step on it slips and falls, then quickly gets back up. It works for runners and chasers.
- Adrenaline – 135 Coins or 57 Gems. For 5 seconds you accelerate 60% faster and keep more speed through turns. It also works for both roles.
- Rescue Kit – 203 Coins or 117 Gems. A runner item that lets you revive yourself when you're downed during a crossing. Use it while rescue is available.

For a cheap start, the Banana Peel and Adrenaline both cost 135 Coins.
Abilities are permanent unlocks, so you never run out of charges. They cost a lot more:
- Inflatable Decoy – 750 Gems. Sends a copy of you running straight ahead for 7 seconds. It pops when caught.
- Cloak – 1000 Gems. You disappear for 3 seconds.
- Emergency Airhorn – 1000 Gems. A short-range blast that knocks a chaser backward.
The Inflatable Decoy is the cheapest of these three abilities, so it's a good first Gem goal.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Trying to equip a locked ability. You have to unlock an ability before you can equip it.
- Forgetting you have no item charges. You start with 0 charges, so buy a pack before you count on an item.
- Thinking Cloak makes you safe. You can still be hit while cloaked. Using an item also ends the cloak early.
- Spending all your Gems on items. Coins can pay for items. Abilities need Gems, so save them.
- Leaving AFK on. Check that the AFK button says OFF when you want to play.
- Panicking when you join mid-match. You'll join the next match. Use the wait to spectate and learn.
