How to Get Sheckles Fast in Grow a Garden

Sheckles (¢) are the money in Grow a Garden. You need them for every seed, and later you need 100,000¢ earned to unlock the Farmers Market. The fastest way to start is simple. Buy cheap Carrot Seeds, grow them in seconds and sell them for about double. This guide explains why some crops sell for more than others. It also shows the carrot cycle step by step and when to move on to better seeds.

How weight sets the sell price

Each crop you harvest has a weight, and you can see it on your hotbar (for example, Carrot 0.25kg). Steven pays for each crop based on its weight. A heavier crop means more Sheckles.

Here are some real carrot sales:

• 0.27kg carrot: 20¢
• 0.29kg carrot: 22¢
• 0.32kg carrot: 28¢
• 3 carrots weighing 0.99kg in total: 87¢

So one carrot usually sells for about 20¢ to 29¢. A Carrot Seed costs 10¢, which means every carrot you grow and sell should give you back about double what you paid. That's why carrots are the best way to get started.

Just grow lots of carrots, and the heavy ones will add up.

The carrot cycle, step by step

The SEEDS, GARDEN and SELL buttons at the top of the screen all teleport you, so you don't need to walk between them.

1. Buy carrots

1. Click SEEDS to teleport to Sam.
2. Press E at Sam to open the Seed Shop.
3. If it opens on Daily Deals, click the Shop tab. Scroll up if you can't see Carrot.
4. Click Carrot Seed to expand it.
5. Click the green 10¢ button once for each seed you want. Buy as many as you can afford.
6. Check your Sheckles count to make sure the buys worked, then close the shop with the X.

2. Plant them

1. Click GARDEN to teleport to your plot.
2. Walk forward a tiny bit, then a little to the right, so you're standing over the brown soil.
3. Click the Carrot Seed slot on your hotbar to equip it.
4. Click on the soil. The seed count drops by one (for example X5 to X4) and a grow timer appears.
5. Click other soil spots until all your seeds are planted.

3. Harvest

1. Wait about 7 seconds. Carrots take around 6 to 7 seconds to grow.
2. Stand next to each plant until [E] Collect shows.
3. Press E to pick it. The carrot goes to your hotbar with its weight.

4. Sell everything at once

1. Click SELL to teleport to Steven.
2. Press E at Steven.
3. Choose I want to sell my Inventory.
4. Wait about 2 seconds. Your crops leave the hotbar and your Sheckles go up.

Then go straight back to SEEDS and do it all again, with more seeds this time.

Tips to make each cycle faster

• Sell in one trip. Plant all your seeds, harvest all of them, and then sell. That's much quicker than going back and forth for each carrot.
• Don't press E at Steven again after selling. It only opens the chat again. If that happens, click Nevermind and head to SEEDS.
• Wait next to your plot. Carrots are ready so fast that it's best to stay and harvest the moment they're done.
• Harvest before you sell. If you sell with no crops, you just get 'Nothing'.
• Don't press Escape to close menus. That opens the Roblox menu. Use the X button instead.
• Check your Sheckles, not the screen. Buying and planting sometimes look like nothing happened even when it worked. Look at your Sheckles count and hotbar before you click again.

This works fast, even from almost nothing. In one session, harvesting and selling took me from 7¢ to 102¢.

When to move on to better seeds

Once you have extra Sheckles, take a look at the other seeds in Sam's shop:

• Strawberry Seed: 50¢ (Common)
• Blueberry Seed: 400¢ (Uncommon)

These seeds cost more, so make sure you can still buy a full round of carrots after getting one. Steven also has a How much is this worth? dialogue option.

What the shop sells changes over time. Check the restock timer in the Seed Shop (it shows something like 'New seeds in 1m 58s'). The loading tip says the best seeds have a small chance of restocking, so it's worth checking back. Daily Deals and offline growth

Daily Deals is a tab inside the Seed Shop. It has discounted seeds of different rarities, but only a few of each. The deals change on a timer, so check it whenever you visit Sam.

Your garden keeps growing while you're offline. Before you leave the game, plant your seeds. When you come back, you'll see 'Your garden grew while you were gone!' Your Sheckles, seeds and crops are saved too, so you can carry on right where you stopped.

Your big goal: 100,000¢

There's a portal next to your garden that leads to the Farmers Market. It stays locked until you have earned 100,000¢. Ignore it for now and keep growing and selling.
