In Build the Pyramid!, gyms are how you train speed and strength. Each gym tier has a bigger multiplier than the last one. You unlock a tier by completing a set number of pyramids, or you can skip the wait with Robux. This guide covers every tier, how many pyramids it takes and what speeds things up.
How the gym ladder works
The game says it plainly: train to increase your speed and strength, and complete pyramids to become even stronger. Gyms tie those two ideas together.
- Each gym trains speed and strength at a multiplier, such as 2x or 10x.
- Higher tiers have bigger multipliers.
- Each tier from 2x to 100x unlocks once your Pyramids count reaches a set number.
- Every tier can also be unlocked straight away with Robux. The top ADMIN tier's listing doesn't mention a pyramid requirement at all.
Your Pyramids count sits with your other stats on the left of the screen. A new player starts at 0.
Every gym tier and its unlock requirement
Here is the full ladder, from the first gym to the last. The number in brackets is the Robux price to skip the requirement.
- 2x gym: 1 pyramid (or 29 Robux)
- 5x gym: 3 pyramids (or 99 Robux)
- 10x gym: 8 pyramids (or 199 Robux)
- 25x gym: 15 pyramids (or 399 Robux)
- 50x gym: 25 pyramids (or 699 Robux)
- 75x gym: 50 pyramids (or 899 Robux)
- 100x gym: 100 pyramids (or 1099 Robux)
- ADMIN 250x gym: 1499 Robux (no pyramid requirement listed)
The early tiers come quickly. The gap is only 2 pyramids from the 2x gym to the 5x gym, then 5 more to reach the 10x gym. Later the gaps get much bigger. You need 25 more pyramids to go from 50x to 75x, and another 50 to reach 100x.
The ADMIN 250x gym
The ADMIN GYM 250x is the top of the ladder. Its Shop description says it lets you "Train Speed and Strength faster." It stands apart from the other tiers because its listing doesn't mention a pyramid requirement. It just says "Unlock the Admin gym" and costs 1499 Robux.
If you don't want to spend Robux, the 100x gym at 100 pyramids is the highest tier with a listed pyramid requirement.
How to check the gym tiers in the Shop
All the gym unlocks are listed in the Shop, along with the pyramids each one skips.
- Click SHOP on the HUD. It is the red icon at the top of the screen.
- Scroll or drag down the list until you reach the GYM items.
- Read each description. For example, the 10x GYM says "Skip the 8 Pyramids requirement."
- Close the Shop with the X at the top-right of the panel.
Completing pyramids to climb the ladder
To build a pyramid, pick up blocks at the quarry (hold E) and carry them to the pyramid. Everyone in the server works on it together. A counter at the top of the screen (for example 81,223 / 171,700) climbs steadily and seems to track the server's shared progress on the pyramid.

Pharaoh and Sun God: reaching tiers faster
Two characters in the Shop list pyramid multipliers:
- Pharaoh (149 Robux): 2x Pyramids, Quick Pickup and Quick Place.
- Sun God (1200 Robux): 4x Pyramids, Ultra-Quick Grab and Ultra-Quick Place.
If the pyramid multiplier applies to your Pyramids count, you would hit each gym requirement sooner. That would matter most at the top of the ladder, where you need 50 or 100 pyramids. For a fuller comparison, see Build the Pyramid! Game Passes: Prices and Which Are Worth It.
Boost Server Training
Boost Server Training costs 49 Robux. It changes server training from x1 to x2. From the name, it seems to apply to the whole server and not just the buyer, but we haven't confirmed that yet.
Frequently asked questions
How many pyramids do you need for the 100x gym in Build the Pyramid!?
You need 100 completed pyramids to unlock the 100x gym. You can also skip that requirement for 1099 Robux.
How do you unlock the 2x gym?
Complete 1 pyramid and the 2x gym unlocks. It is the first tier, and you can also skip it for 29 Robux.
Can you unlock the ADMIN 250x gym with pyramids?
The ADMIN GYM 250x listing doesn't mention a pyramid requirement. It is sold for 1499 Robux.
Do Pharaoh or Sun God help you unlock gyms faster?
Pharaoh lists 2x Pyramids and Sun God lists 4x Pyramids. If that multiplier applies to your Pyramids count, you would reach each gym tier sooner.
Does Boost Server Training work for everyone?
It raises server training from x1 to x2 and costs 49 Robux. The name suggests it covers the whole server, but that hasn't been confirmed.
Where can I see the gym unlock requirements?
Open the Shop from the red SHOP icon at the top of the screen and scroll down to the GYM items. Each one shows how many pyramids it skips.
