In +1 Stone Skipping, you train SKILL on a training pad, then throw your stone at the water to earn Wins. Progress feels slow at first, but a few habits make a big difference. This guide covers which training lane to use, how offline training works, which free rewards to claim every time you join, and how to get the most out of each throw.
Always train on your best lane
The training pads come in six strengths: 1x, 2x, 4x, 6x, 10x and 20x SKILL. A higher pad gives you SKILL much faster for the same amount of time, so always stand on the highest one you have unlocked.
You unlock better lanes by rebirthing. For example, 4x SKILL needs 2 rebirths and 10x SKILL needs 4 rebirths.
- From spawn, walk forward to the training lanes.
- Stand on the highest lane that is unlocked for you.
- Wait while your SKILL and Level bar go up.
- Press Space (jump) to leave. Walking off the pad doesn't work. The game tells you to "JUMP TO EXIT TRAINING ZONE".
Some pads, like the Admin Training Zone, cost Robux. Stepping on one opens a purchase prompt. If that happens, close the prompt with its X and walk away.
Let offline training work for you
Your SKILL keeps training while you're logged out. When you come back, a Welcome Back popup shows how much you earned, for example +42,364 SKILL.
- When the Welcome Back popup appears, click Claim!
- Wait a moment for it to close. You'll see "Offline earnings collected!"
The free Claim button is all you need.
Claim your daily and playtime rewards
Every time you join, check two free reward menus.
Daily Rewards pop up when you join. You can also open them with the calendar icon at the top right. Click CLAIM YOUR REWARD when it's ready. The seven days give:
- Day 1: Skill Boost
- Day 2: Fortune Neko (a pet)
- Day 3: Win Boost
- Day 4: 2x Luck Boost
- Day 5: 3x Skill Boost
- Day 6: Win Boost
- Day 7: Shooting Star Relic (Limited!)
Try to log in every day so you reach the Day 7 relic.
Playtime Rewards open from the Gifts button. There are 12 gifts that unlock the longer you play, and the last ones take over an hour and a half. They include Wins (such as +100 WINS, +500 WINS and +5K WINS), big SKILL rewards, a 2X SKILL BOOST and a COMMON EGG. Click every Claim button that's ready.
Buy cheap stones and relics early
Your stone and relics decide how much Skill you get each time. Upgrading early speeds up everything that comes after.
Some early options, all paid with Wins:
- Ammonite Fossil: 10 Wins, +5 Skill
- Wood Slice: +30 Skill per throw
- Roof Tile: 500 Wins, +75 Skill per throw
How to buy:
- Look for a "You can buy X (N Wins)" message at the top of the screen.
- Walk from the Throw Zone to the green pedestal area.
- Stand at a pedestal marked UNLOCKED.
- Press or hold E to buy. The new stone is equipped straight away.
The Phoenix Relic costs Robux. Don't press E near Robux pedestals unless you mean to.
Make each throw count
Your Wins per throw go up with your SKILL and the distance you throw. Early on you might only get +5 Wins for a 408 m throw, but later on throws can give +200 Wins each.
- Walk onto the yellow THROW ZONE platform by the water.
- Click the green THROW button at the bottom centre, or press E.
- Watch the stone skip. The distance in metres and the zone name show at the top.
- Wait for the THROW button to come back, then throw again.
The button hides while your stone is skipping. Spam-clicking doesn't make you throw faster, so just wait for it to come back.
Rebirth at the right time
Each rebirth adds +1 to your SKILL multiplier, raises the level cap by 20 (20, 40, 60, 80) and can unlock better training lanes. But it resets your Level and SKILL to 0, so only rebirth when the bar shows MAX LEVEL and the Rebirth button reads 100%. Before you confirm, check that the popup shows your multiplier going up.
Friend Boost
The game has a Friend Boost. It showed +0% in our session. Each server holds up to 10 players, so you could try joining friends to see if it goes up.

No. The button hides while your stone is skipping. Wait for it to come back, then throw again.
